Hondo was a medium-sized, gray-black, emphatically male male. Enormous driving potential and especially his hardness and sharpness left almost nothing to be desired when working with him. The dressing methods, which were much more robust at the time, could not leave any traces at Hondo. To preserve the potential of this excellent dog genetically was our breeding goal.

The first two litters 1976 / 77 Our purebred grey Ohle was bred for Hondo by Rundeck daughter Conny from Kemmlerblick SchH2. With this bitch, by re-inbreeding to the sire of hard performance dogs Fred von Falkenbruch SchH3, it was possible to genetically obtain these desirable working qualities FH.
